Burners, SMOG.TV is a new site where you vote your series canceled or going to get cancelled,let’s save your show.
Hey ya! For the people who are feeling skeptical about this, here is how it works:
- Disney XD holds Motorcity’s IP.
- Disney XD canceled Motorcity on the basis that it is not making enough money because there aren’t enough views.
- Basically, they refuse to produce the show anymore because they don’t earn enough with it.
Here is what SMGO can do for you:
- SMGO.TV takes in the fans’ votes to see if this is a sure project.
- Once it reaches 2500 votes (for an animated show) they contact the previous producers and the makers, and start the funding part.
- SMGO only takes your money when they are sure that it will fund the project for good.
- Once the money is gathered, it all goes to Titmouse. We become their producer through SMGO.

No, but seriously.
One of the best things about Motorcity is the way the Burners chose to fight against a broken system that silences their form of expression. This is a great example for kids to know that there really isn’t just ONE way to fight for change, there are several ways you can do that!
-Mike fights hands on, he tries his best to be an example by getting out there and showing people it’s a fight worth fighting. He stands up for his loved ones and encourages them to do good and help the fight in any way they can.
-Chuck fights it from a comfort zone, because he would rather do something, anything he can and then try to avoid things that trigger his anxiety. And the greatest thing is he’s told he’s not a coward for doing it that way, he is told he is brave because he chooses to fight.
-Dutch fights by creating. He creates ways to express anger towards the current situation and hope towards the future, giving others the inspiration to do the same. He creates hope for others, beauty in the middle of a battlezone.
-Texas fights by beaming confidence and no doubt in their ability to success. He’s a constant boost of optimism and the guy who will go to jail singing songs of victory, because even if you didn’t succeed completely, at least you started a riot.
-Julie fights in secret. No one really knows the things she is risking by fighting and she feels no need for glorification. She fights silently, but just as effective as those who fights hands on. Just as good as anyone else out there, face on the news, name on everyone’s lips.
All of these ways are good ways to fight against an oppressing power. All of these ways are valid and awesome ways to fight for what you believe in. Because if we just sit back and expect the world to change by itself, we’re going to be the losers. Then Kane wins.
